Stephanie Rosenbloom is the retail
reporter for the Business desk of The
New York Times. Prior to this she wrote
about American social trends for the
Thursday and Sunday Styles sections.
Stephanie has been a frequent
contributor to The Times since October
2000. She was a reporter for the

Sunday Real Estate section and the
lead reporter for the Metro desk's
Neediest Cases series. She worked on
the Continuous News Desk, which
provides breaking news content to
NYTimes.com, and was part of the
team that in 2005 helped to create the
Thursday Styles feature section. She is
a featured writer in
"The New York
Times Practical Guide to Practically
Everything"
(St. Martin's Press, 2006).
