Stephanie Rosenbloom is the retail reporter for the Business desk of
The New York Times. Between 2005 and 2008, she wrote about
American social trends for the
Thursday and Sunday Styles sections
and was part of the team that in 2005 helped to create the Thursday
Styles feature section. Stephanie has been a frequent contributor to
The Times since October 2000. She was a reporter for the Sunday
Real Estate section, the lead reporter for the Metro desk's Neediest
Cases series, and worked on the Continuous News Desk, which
provides breaking news content to NYTimes.com. She is a featured
writer in
The New York Times Practical Guide to Practically Everything
(St. Martin's Press, 2006).
